OK, you asked for an update. Here it is!
2005 Sew with Wool Contest
Tori, Tyler, and Tim all participated in the 2005 Mississippi Sew with Wool contest. The contest was held at the Hancock Fabric store in Brandon, MS (outside of Jackson). The boys are shown wearing the vests they made. Tori's jumper was first in the preteen division. Tyler is actually wearing the vest he made for himself last year. This year he made a vest for his father in the "sew for others" category.
2005 Mississippi State Fair
Tori took the crowns for both meat goats and dairy cattle. She was previously the dairy goat sweetheart. These are 4H awards based on how well they've worked their project areas. Tyler received the herdsman award. But, we didn't get a picture. Oops.
When we went to Dixie Nationals in February, we arranged for Tyler to sit in on a House session. Our state representative, John Mayo, is behind Tyler. He let Tyler have his seat and do the voting for him. Pretty cool, huh?
Timmy's favorite past time is fishing. Here he's fishing during our Florida vacation. Anytime Timmy's missing, you probably need to check the pond. Watch out fish!
Tabitha enjoyed the Florida vacation, too. Here she's got her favorite baby doll, Prudence, in the bug net on the back porch of Grandma and Grandpa's place.
