The Caprine Milk Secret   

Goat milk has been used throughout the world’s history as a cleanser and skin conditioner. It is a rich and soothing soap, especially for sensitive or dry skin. Goat milk is also a natural source of Alpha-hydroxy acids. Recent studies indicated that Alpha-hydroxy acids rejuvenate your skin making your skin look and feel smoother and younger. 

  I make each batch of my goat milk soap. From the mixing of ingredients to removing the soap from the molds and cutting by hand, every step of the process is watched to ensure the highest quality product on the market.

 Cold Process Soap Making

  Unlike most mass-manufactured soaps, my hand crafted, cold-processed soap retains all of the moisturizing glycerin formed in the soap making process. After hand cutting each bar, the soap is aged for 30 to 45 days to complete the saponification process. 

  While many people with sensitive skin have found this to be the only soap they can use, most all skin types will improve from the gentle cleansing and moisturizing action of my cold-processed goat’s milk soap.

 Suggestions for use:

 ∙It is generally recommended the soap be used before it is 1 year old.

 ∙Like all soaps, your goat’s milk soap bar will last longer if it is kept on a wire rack or dish that allows it to dry between uses.

  Pricing:

 Most of our soap bars are $4 each. Our specialty soaps, such as Carrot Oil/Oatmeal or Castile are a dollar extra.
